Human Rights and Impunity for International Crimes - Where Next?
The 2026 Alf Dubs Annual Lecture will be held on the 5th February 2026 in the Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Philippe Sands KC, international human rights lawyer and author.
Philippe Sands will draw on the stories told in his books, from East West Street to 38 Londres Street and the claim to immunity from those whose official conduct is said to give rise to crimes under international law. The lecture will also cover the current threat to human rights and the role of the European Convention on Human Rights in the UK.
Public registration for the lecture will open in December 2025. If you’d like to be notified, please sign up to our mailing list below.
